Physicochemical properties: Liquid.PFU DNA polymerase is a high fidelity high temperature DNA polymerase isolated from thermophilic bacterium Pyrococcus furiosis.PFU DNA polymerase has the activity of 5 '- 3' exonuclease, which can correct the errors in the PCR process. It is the lowest error rate in the PCR process among all DNA high-temperature polymerases found so far, and the error rate is about 10 times lower than that of ordinary Taq DNA polymerase.The extension rate of PFU DNA polymerase is about 800 bases per minute, the optimum extension temperature is 65-75 ℃, the PCR product is flat end, and the 3 'end does not contain a single dA.

Purpose: Biochemical research. After testing, there was no activity of exogenous nuclease. Taking lambda DNA as template, 2KB DNA fragment could be amplified well. It can be used for routine PCR amplification, high fidelity amplification and expression of genes, and site directed mutation of genes.
