Physicochemical Properties: white crystalline powder. The double melting point is about 190 ℃ and 245 ℃. Slightly soluble in water (about 1%) and ethanol (0.26mg/100ml). It is odorless and has a strong sweet taste. The sweetness of its dilute solution is about 100-200 times that of sucrose. Its sweet taste is very similar to sugar, and it has a cool feeling. The pH value of 0.8% aqueous solution is 4-6.5. Unstable in aqueous solution, easy to decompose and lose sweet taste, stable at low temperature and pH 3-5
