The culture medium with this chromogenic substrate can detect and quantify the number of E. coli in food samples such as meat, dairy products and shellfish.This product is widely used in the world to replace the traditional method to accurately detect the amount of Escherichia coli in drinking water. This method greatly reduces the false positive and false negative.The product is also used for rapid detection of GUS gene fusion markers in plants.
