Physicochemical properties (the following information is for reference only): white or quasi white lyophilized powder, derived from Streptomyces. Users can use different buffers to dissolve according to their own experimental needs. After dissolution, it should be stored at - 20 ℃.
Usage: This product is only for scientific research, not for other purposes. Streptavidin is a tetrameric protein. It has strong noncovalent bond interaction with biotin, which makes this small molecule protein pair the most practical and widely used system in affinity labeling. Streptavidin can bind alkaline phosphatase or peroxidase. After binding with the biotin labeled oligonucleotide probe, the position of the target gene (DNA fragment) can be screened out by the chromogenic reaction on the band (spot) position after the carried enzyme interacts with the chromogenic substrate
