Physicochemical properties: powder. It is an enzyme with copper atom as the active center, which is composed of a single polypeptide chain containing 639 amino acid groups.A kind of non blue oxidase, which contains copper and does not show blue.Unlike blue copper oxidase, its absorption coefficient is very small near 600 nm, which can be monitored by electron spin resonance (ESR) spectrum. Its spectral characteristics are similar to those of inorganic copper coordination compounds.
