Physicochemical properties: white crystalline powder, odorless, or slightly specific odor, with a decomposition point of 215 ℃. It is very soluble in water, ethanol, fat oil and liquid paraffin. It has hygroscopicity, and can make penicillin in the presence of acid, alkali, oxidant, penicillinase, etc β- The lactam ring opens and fails. Crystalline penicillin sodium salt is relatively stable. Its aqueous solution is easy to fail at room temperature and cannot be boiled for disinfection. Penicillin G sodium solution can be stored for one week at 2 ~ 8 ℃ after filtration and sterilization, longer at -20 ℃ and only for 3 days at 37 ℃
