Purpose: biochemical research. It inhibits the protein synthesis of bacteria and has antibacterial effect on most Gram-positive bacteria and some anaerobic gram-negative bacteria. The antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria is similar to erythromycin. Sensitive bacteria can include Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus viridis, Staphylococcus aureus, Diphtheria Bacillus, etc. Anaerobic bacteria sensitive to this product include Bacteroides, Clostridium, Propionibacterium, Eubacterium, Bifidobacterium, Streptococcus digest, most Enterococcus digest, Bacillus perfringens, tetanus, and some actinomycetes.
