Physicochemical properties: with hydrochloride, it is a yellow crystalline powder, odorless, bitter, and can cause deterioration when exposed to light. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, easily soluble in alkali metal hydroxide or carbonate solution
Purpose: biochemical research. The antibacterial spectrum is similar to doxycycline. The effect is 2-4 times stronger than tetracycline, and better than doxycycline, metocycline and oxytetracycline. It can overcome tetracycline resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus and Escherichia coli.
