Physicochemical properties: white acicular crystal or powder. Boiling point 125 ~ 130 ℃ (0.27kpa). Sublimation at 37 ℃, 0.67pa. Slightly hygroscopic, easily soluble in water, ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform. Slow oxidation in air
Purpose: biochemical research. Used as protein Ryukyu protectant. It is used for protein disulfide bond cleavage and sequence analysis. It is also a commonly used reductant with antioxidant effect. Compared with mercaptoethanol, DTT has similar effects, but its pungent smell is much smaller and its toxicity is much lower than mercaptoethanol. And when the concentration of DTT is 7 times lower than that of mercaptoethanol, the two effects are similar
Storage: 2 ~ 8 ℃
