Physicochemical  Properties: white or off white crystalline powder. Odorless, slightly salty and bitter. It changes gradually in light and is stable in air. 1g is soluble in about 4.5ml water, 90ml ethanol, slightly soluble in acetone, insoluble in ether and chloroform. 10% aqueous solution ph3.2. The acidic aqueous solution is stable, even when heated to 120 ℃ (decomposition and sublimation). Maximum absorption wavelength (0.1mol/l hydrochloric acid) 290nm（ ε 840), (phosphate buffer, pH7) 253, 325nm（ ε 3700、7100)。 Low toxicity, LD50 (rat, oral) 4000mg/kg.
