Physicochemical Properties: light yellow or brown oily or slightly viscous liquid, almost odorless. Melting point 2.5-3.5 ℃, boiling point 200-220 ℃ (13 PA), relative density (25/4 ℃) 0.950, refractive index 1.5045. Fat soluble, easily soluble in alcohol, ether, acetone, chloroform, grease and other fat solvents, almost insoluble in water. When there is no oxygen, it is very stable for hot alkali. It has no effect with acid below 100 ℃, but it is easy to be oxidized. The medium color of exposed light gradually deepens. The presence of iron salt and silver salt can accelerate its oxidation. It can be oxidized into quinone derivatives by light or chemical reagents in air. It exists in vegetable oil, such as wheat germ, corn, sunflower seed, rapeseed, soybean oil, and is often associated with exergy β- Type and exergy γ- Type coexistence
Purpose: biochemical research. Antioxidant and catalytic hydrogenation agent in vegetable oil
Storage: 2 ~ 8 ℃, away from light
