Physicochemical properties : white or yellow rhombic crystal or powder. When heated to above 230 ℃, it turns pink. Soluble in water, ethanol, acetone, methanol, glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble in chloroform, petroleum ether, toluene, ethyl acetate and acetic anhydride, insoluble in ether. The aqueous solution is colorless and acidic. When the aqueous solution touches the skin, it turns red and has an unpleasant smell. Melting point 256 ℃ (anhydrous matter, decomposition). Median lethal dose (mice, intravenous) 200mg/kg.
