Physicochemical properties : ruby red crystal. It can be decomposed by acid and reduced to potassium ferrocyanide by light and reducing agent. Slowly dissolve in 2.5 parts of cold water and 1.3 parts of boiling water, slightly soluble in ethanol. Its aqueous solution gradually decomposes during storage. The relative density is 1.89. The minimum lethal dose (rat, oral) 1600mg/kg.
Purpose: biochemical research. Reagents for chromatographic analysis. Determination of high iron, cesium, gallium, mercury, zinc and uranium dioxide by drop analysis. Mild oxidant of organic synthesis. Analysis of sulfur content of methanol in nitrogen fertilizer production. Analysis of wastewater in the production of pesticide herbicide
