Physicochemical Properties (the following information is for reference only): white powder. Its composition is uncertain. Odorless. Hygroscopic. In dry air, when heated to 150 ℃, it begins to decompose, and when heated to 300 ℃, it completely loses carbon dioxide and becomes zinc oxide. Soluble in dilute acid, ammonia and ammonium carbonate solutions, insoluble in water and ethanol. The relative density is 4.42 ~ 4.45. Irritating.
