Purpose: CM- agarose gel CL-6B is a weak cation exchange medium formed by bonding carboxymethyl to agarose gel. It is widely used in ion exchange preparation of downstream proteins, nucleic acids and peptides in biopharmaceutical and bioengineering.
Preservation: the product shall be stored in a ventilated, dry and clean place at 4 ℃ ~ 25 ℃ (the preservation solution is 20% ethanol). It can't be frozen. The used column is stored at 4 ℃ (20% ethanol)
matters needing attention:
(1) Before loading the sample, the sample must be filtered through the membrane and the pigment must be removed, otherwise the impurities and pigment will be adsorbed on the filler and affect the normal use of the filler. All buffers need to be filtered with a 0.45um filter.
(2) In the process of use, avoid using strong acids and bases with high concentration, and the concentration of acids and bases shall be less than 0.1 mol. Alkali slows the flow rate.
(3) Different samples have different adsorption and elution methods, which can be carried out according to the relevant literature. (4) When selecting chromatographic column for ion exchange medium, avoid using slender column, which will increase the experimental operation pressure.
