Collagenase from Clostridium histolyticum;Clostridiopeptidase A CAS 9001-12-1
Item No.: E0038
Store at: -20℃
English name:Collagenase from Clostridium histolyticum;Clostridiopeptidase A
Other names: Bone collagenase; Collagenase; Collagen hydrolase
Grade:BR
Type: Type II
Vitality:≥125CDU/mg solid (CDU=collagen digestion units)
Vitality definition:One FALGPA hydrolysis unit hydrolyzes 1.0 μmole of furylacryloyl-Leu-Gly-Pro-Ala per min at pH 7.5 at 25 °C in the presence of calcium ions。One neutral protease unit hydrolyzes casein to produce color equivalent to 1.0 μmole tyrosine per 5 hr at pH 7.5 at 37℃。One clostripain unit hydrolyzes 1.0 μmole of BAEE per min at pH 7.6 at 25℃ in the presence of DTT.
Physicochemical properties: Tan or light brown to light yellow f powder. The optimum pH value is 7 ~ 8. It has unique ability to digest natural collagen and denatured collagen. Detergent, HCH and heavy metal ions can reduce enzyme activity. It acts exclusively on procollagen, breaks it, and then is hydrolyzed by other proteases without hydrolyzing fibrin and globulin.
Purpose: Biochemical research. Used for dissociation of liver, bone, thyroid, heart and other tissues and cells.
