  Physicochemical properties: white or yellowish brown crystal. Soluble in ethanol, n-amyl alcohol, isoamyl alcohol, n-hexanol, chloroform and benzene, slightly soluble in cold water. The melting point is 159-160 ℃ (hemihydrate). Irritating.
