It tastes bitter. 1g is dissolved in 120ml water, 80ml ethanol, about 110ml chloroform, dissolved in hot water, alkali hydroxide solution, ammonia water, dilute hydrochloric acid and dilute nitric acid, and slightly dissolved in ether. The melting point is 270-274 ℃ (Monohydrate). The maximum absorption wavelength (0.1mol/l sodium hydroxide) is 274nm. Moderate toxicity, 50% lethal dose (rat, oral) 300mg / kg
