Physicochemical properties: brownish yellow needle crystal or powder. Easy to sublimate. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, benzene, ether, carbon disulfide, caustic solution, carbon trichloride, carbon tetrachloride and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in cold petroleum ether. The solution is yellowish or brownish orange, and forms red or blue water-soluble complexes with CO3 +, Ru3 +, ZrO2 +, Fe2 +, etc., which can be extracted by chloroform and carbon tetrachloride
