Physicochemical properties : dark red crystal. It is soluble in hot ethanol, benzene and acetic acid, dark blue in hydrochloric acid, dark red in chloroform, and insoluble in petroleum ether and water. Median lethal dose (mice, abdominal cavity) 250mg/kg.
Purpose: biochemical research. Photometric reagent for the determination of gold, palladium, platinum, mercury, silver and copper.
