Physicochemical Properties: white prismatic crystalline powder. It can form complexes with various metal ions. Soluble in ammonia water and alkali hydroxide solution, slightly soluble in water (1.28g soluble in 1L water at 22.5 ℃), insoluble in organic solvents. The pH of saturated aqueous solution is 2.3. The melting point is 230 ~ 235 ℃ (decomposition) (241.5 ℃ is also reported in the literature). Low toxicity, LD50 (rat, oral) 1470mg/kg. There is a possibility of cancer.
