Physicochemical Properties: grayish brown or black powder or red powder. Soluble in water and ethanol, the aqueous solution and ethanol solution are red with yellow green fluorescence. In case of concentrated sulfuric acid, it will show green fluorescence, the diluted solution will show orange to red, and the aqueous solution plus sodium hydroxide will produce yellow precipitation
