CAS No.: 2103-73-3
C22H14C12N4O16S4=789.53
Grade: Developer
Spectral effective content: ≥ 80.0%
Sensitivity test for niobium: acceptable
Water solubility test: acceptable
Physicochemical properties: dark black or dark red crystalline powder. Slightly soluble in water, easily soluble in concentrated acid and alkali solutions. The aqueous solution is stable in the absence of oxidant and reductant. Strong oxidizing and reducing agents can make it fade, and it can be red or purple in acidic solutions due to different concentrations. When niobium is present, it is dark blue and forms a complex with niobium in a ratio of 1:1. The molar extinction coefficient is 32000, and there is a maximum absorption peak at 630nm
Purpose: biochemical research. It is a sensitive reagent for the determination of niobium. It can also determine zirconium, bismuth, lead, scandium, molybdenum and copper. Chelating agent. Industrially used for photometric determination of tungsten, uranium, beryllium in steel and ore, niobium in alloy and rock
