Physicochemical properties: golden yellow powder. It is easily oxidized by hot acid and alkali to decompose ammonia and Michaelis ketone. It is yellow in ethanol solution, slightly soluble in cold water, light yellow in water solution, and hardly soluble in ether. The melting point is 172-173 ℃, and the aqueous solution is easy to decompose when it is above 50 ℃, and it is better to prepare the solution under 40 ℃

Uses: acid resistant bacteria fluorescence staining, salamander living body staining, plant tissue staining. Dyeing of linen, paper, leather, fat, rayon and printing of cotton fabrics
